The gîte
We are delighted to welcome you to our self-catering holiday accommodation
located in the heart of the Mâcon vineyards in Montbellet.
A film buff and wine connoisseur, Bruno welcomes you to an authentic 17th-century Burgundy mansion steeped in history (former farmhouse and winegrowers’ house), carefully restored with style and taste, nestling in the heart of a picturesque little rural hamlet a stone’s throw from the vineyards.
Spacious, comfortable gîte. Vast living room with sublime “cathedral” ceiling. Warm country charm with resolutely contemporary accents, combining tradition and modernity in a “country loft” style. Remarkable heritage restoration (conservation of the Burgundy stone walls, stone and wood lintels, roof timbers, terracotta floor tiles, old bread oven, stone sink and plate warmer, French-style ceiling, etc.).
A blend of the modern and the old, this recently renovated 17th-century residence has been given a new lease of life with the sparkle of rustic design.
Day side
In the kitchen and living room (40 m2), space, volume and purity are combined with restored family furniture and the latest technological equipment: TV, electrical appliances, WIFI and a cooking piano for enthusiasts!
Night side
In the bedrooms and bathroom, the spirit of yesteryear reigns, with French ceilings, plenty of exposed stone and original terracotta floor tiles! The master bedroom is a jewel box of nostalgia.
Outdoors
Large gravel terrace on the west side adjoining a relaxing small garden.
